Just got a couple of shots from our own testing grounds in Siberia, on the shores of lake Baikal. There we submit each hat model to extensive tests, on and off snow, with and without penguins.

The powturn is part of the on snow program, and a very important one I’m sure you all agree.

Notice the photos come with a bonus: not only do you get to see our chief hat-magician himself perform one of his signature tests, you also get a glimpse of the brand new Circle boards released by …the Circle.

So if you happen to be close to Whistler, pay them a visit and get your hands on both hOme hats and Circle boards before it’s too late!

Love it or hate it, but these days you don’t need a calendar to feel that dear old spring is not far away.

To celebrate the soft landings and late afternoon, sunset-lit sessions, we’ll be bringing back some of your favourite tees and a couple other items.

2| THE LAST X-MAS SALE

As with old friends, introductions are not necessary: That much choice at these prices, the X-Mas Sale remains, for a couple of hours a year, the best bargain destination in town. GOODIES ONLINE will be our special guest this year, along with regulars LOWRIDER & SAPIENT Snowboards.

We say “last” on the poster because the 3B skatepark will have to close down in September 2010 - when the building is going to be taken down. No one knows what will happen next, but it won’t keep us from greeting you with a cup of tea, a slice of cake and a smile!

You don’t know it yet, but the clock is ticking for our dear 3B skatepark.

As usual, it was built inside an almost deserted warehouse and now the whole neighbourhood is being rebuilt, which means that the whole thing will be torn down come september next year.

The whole crew behind the park is now looking for a place to move and rebuild the setup so we all have a place to skate when the town is rainy-cold-or-covered-in-snow.

Any kind of help is welcome of course, so in an effort to draw as much attention as possible to the issue, they’re organising a contest at the park. Some of you already know the location, it’s where our annual X-Mas Sale has been held over the last few years.

If you skate, enter the contest and have a go at winning some of the prizes hOme, Lowrider, Enjoi, Element and DVS have provided. If you don’t skate, come and have a look, there’s a Game of skate and a Best trick, so crazy tricks will be on the menu.

No need to let you know it’s getting chillier as we approach the last two months of dear old 2009.

That’s why t-shirt lovers now gather indoors, preferably in a tiny bar with good food, shiny happy people and enough liquid to last a whole night.

Tiny yes, but the more we are the less heating we need, so come and join us this saturday october 31st at Café La Bossette, Place du Nord 4, 1004 Lausanne, from 4pm to whenever they decide to kick us out!

Our beloved but dangerous teddy bear will be there to silence those attached to a pure halloween themed night.

We like to think small is beautiful.

When it comes to music festivals, it means that one attracting about 450 people might be just as exciting as the big guns we all go to throughout the summer.

This is how we ended up designing JVAL festival’s t-shirt, an event organised by two brothers and their friends (notice any similarities?) in the middle of the Vineyards overlooking Lake Geneva. They are now in their fifth year, with two more evenings to go (tonight and tomorrow).

We’ll be there with some friends tonight, what about you?
